Device health check in Norwich
A useful first look—not a remote diagnosis
The free iTech Norwich Device MOT turns your observations into an easy-to-read report. It can help you describe a fault, spot sensible maintenance steps and decide whether an in-store inspection would be worthwhile. Because the check cannot physically test a battery, circuit board, storage drive or liquid exposure, it does not certify safety, value, repairability or remaining lifespan.
How the score works
The score is a weighted average of five self-reported areas: age context 10%, power 25%, performance 25%, physical condition 20% and device-specific functions 20%. Selected symptoms reduce the relevant component score by a disclosed amount. Urgent warning signs are shown separately and never hidden by a high score.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Device MOT a diagnosis or a PASS/FAIL test?
No. It is an educational self-report summary. A technician needs to inspect and test the device before diagnosing a fault.
Do you predict how long my device will last?
No. Remaining life depends on hardware condition, usage, environment, software support and unpredictable faults. The report focuses on current symptoms and practical next steps.
Are my answers sent to iTech Norwich?
No. The check runs in your browser. You decide whether to open WhatsApp, and you can review or edit the message before sending it.
Can I save my report as a PDF?
Yes. Choose “Print / save as PDF” and select your browser’s PDF option.
